“Music is my true essence. You must never betray who you are.”

Ever since I was a child, I had been composing melodies, simply playing on the piano or guitar whatever I heard inside me. Later, these early sketches, some dating back to 1992 and 1997, became the basis for the first songs, now in new arrangements. Most of the songs were written between 2006 and 2012.

For a long time, I worked a regular office job. But when entire musical worlds are playing in your head, staying in an office becomes dangerous for the soul. I realized that it was taking me to a very bad place. So I decided to set out on the long road of bringing my creative work to life.

The project grew out of a naive childhood dream: one day, I wanted to create a band with beautiful music and many beautiful voices.

• Western pop music;
• classical music, which I grew up with;
• and a genre I discovered later, where all these influences unexpectedly came together — gothic rock and gothic metal.

The second release: this time, a 4-song single recorded with live musicians. This time, there was some feedback from Russian listeners in the form of an article in a music magazine. The single was also received very warmly by Western listeners on social media

Full-scale work on recording and mixing the album began.

The first Russian-language demos were published on MySpace. There was no response from Russia at all. All the interest came from European listeners. At that point, it became clear that the lyrics would have to be translated into English
